Roots & Rising

Healing is not about escaping. It’s about coming home to yourself."

I’m Alysha Faye — the woman behind Luna Cactus, rooted here in New Mexico.

My story begins on Tiwa land in New Mexico, where my ancestral roots run deep. I grew up under desert skies, surrounded by chile, sunsets, and the vibrant spirit of the culture. The land is my teacher — constantly reminding me that I am part of something greater: a living community of earth, ancestors, and spirit.

My spiritual path opened in an unexpected way. In sobriety and searching for meaning, Spirit whispered to me: “everything you need to heal is already here on Earth.” That moment carried me toward herbalism, meditation, and eventually into the profound practice of microdosing psilocybin mushrooms.

What began as curiosity became devotion — to nature, to ritual, and to the process of becoming. My daily mantra is: Become Her. Embody Her.

Over the years, I’ve learned that healing is not about escaping. It’s about coming home to yourself. I am not perfect, and sometimes it’s still difficult for me to put this into active practice. Microdosing, when paired with intention and integration, became the bridge between who I was and who I was becoming.

Today, I call myself a Guide-ess — a guide with a feminine essence, a touch of goddess. I walk beside women as they rediscover themselves, weaving intention into transformation. Through women’s circles and mentorship offerings, I hold space for women to reconnect with their truth, embody change, and rise into wholeness.

I am also a mother, and my son continues to be one of my greatest teachers — reminding me of presence, patience, and unconditional love. I know that in order to give him what he deserves and needs, I have to be as whole as I can be. Committing to healing and community isn’t just my work; it’s the way I choose to live.

Luna Cactus is my way of sharing that journey with you. Through my writing in Messy, Magical, Becoming on Substack, and in every circle I hold, I root myself in honesty, presence, and feminine wisdom — always walking beside others in the messy, magical process of becoming.

Committing to healing & community isn’t just my work; it’s the way I choose to live."

Microdosing changed my life. Let me show you how.
